What is the turnaround?Turnaround can vary, based on the scope of the project, but most of our projects fall in the 4-8 weeks range. Factors that determine turnaround: Days of filming - More shoot days, usually means more planning days too. # of deliverables - Is it just one commercial, or an online course series with 50 videos Motion graphics or animation - These features are time intensive Rounds of revisions - All our project include at least 2 rounds of revisions Cooks in the kitchen - Do revisions have to filter through several decision makers?

We already shot footage. Can you just edit?We don't typically take on pure editing projects. It leaves too much to chance on the outcome. We prefer to shoot and edit all our projects ourselves.

We have in-house editors. Can you just shoot video?In most cases, we are happy to just shoot a project and let the client's marketing department handle the editing.

How much does video production cost?Video production costs about as much as a car. It just depends on what kind of car you want representing your business. Do you need a Ford to quickly get you to your destination? We can help. Do you need a Porsche that will turn every head in the neighborhood? We can help with that too.

Will you cast talent and find a location for the video?Yes to both! We are a turnkey production company, so we routinely handle casting talent and negotiating their rates and terms. We also have tons of connections with locations in the Austin areas and are happy to location scout for your video project.

Can you write a video script for me?Absolutely! For most of our projects, we pitch concepts, write scripts and provide storyboards (depending on budget/scope). That is actually our favorite part of the pre-production process.

Videographer, Cinematographer, Camera Guy - What's the difference?A Videographer shoots weddings and events. A Cinematographer (also known as a Director of Photography or DP) is the person running the camera department for a film or commercial. A Camera Guy sits behind the big camera at a baseball game. You can also hire a Camera Guy for your kids birthday party. A Camera Guy shows up to a gig and says, "So what do you want me to shoot?" Then what is Bennett Creative? We are a Video Production Company. That means that we do turnkey video projects from scripting to shooting to editing. We contract some great Cinematographers for our projects. We do occasionally do Videography for big events, long time clients, and SXSW. But we are not Camera Guys.

Can I add photography to the package?100%. In fact, it makes a lot of sense to shoot photography alongside video production. All the lights are up and everyone's hair and makeup look great. Might as well grab some stills! Check out our commercial photography portfolio

What about copyright and getting the raw files?We offer clients an unlimited license for most of our work that doesn't require talent. As soon as hired talent is involved, there usually has to be terms and distribution limits on the project. We can help coach you through what's best for your company. In some cases, we also offer a RAW file buyout.
